My mini blog:FIFA World Cup 2026- by Viraj Addagiri.

Since the very first FIFA World Cup in 1930, every tournament has written a new chapter in soccer/football history. But the 2026 FIFA World Cup broke records before the competition even began!
Hi, my name is Viraj, and today I'm going to tell you about the FIFA World Cup 2026. The tournament kicked off with the opening match between South Africa and Mexico. It was also the first World Cup in history to be hosted by three countries—the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

The United States played against Paraguay The the U.S. won (4-1)! Canada played its first game against Bosnia and Hirgosvania.

On July 19th the finals where played. ESP (Spain) scored a goal by F.Torres scored at the 116th minute bringing down the goal for Messi to win the World Cup in America in New Jersey. One of the parts that made the long game fun has to be the halftime show and the closing ceremony! In the closing ceremony American streamer IShowSpeed sang his “Champions” and most of his fans did not know it! At the end game game was boring but at the same time fun!
One of my favourite matches was the United States vs. Paraguay. The stadium was full of energy, and the USA played brilliantly to win 4–1. Folarin Balogun scored twice, making it a fantastic start for the host nation.🇺🇸
I also enjoyed watching Canada play Bosnia and Herzegovina. Canada went behind early but fought back, and Cyle Larin scored a late goal to earn a 1–1 draw. The crowd went wild!🇨🇦
The tournament was full of exciting moments, but the biggest one came in the final. Spain defeated Argentina 1–0 after extra time to become the FIFA World Cup 2026 champions. It was a thrilling ending to an unforgettable tournament!
